In addition to giving the college an opportunity to combine forces with industry leaders to explore emerging issues, Paulson said MTSU students will provide video and technical support with the Department of Electronic Media Communication’s $1.7 million HD mobile production truck as an on-site control room during the event.

"We're delighted to work with our friends at ‘Who Knew’ on this important showcase of ideas and insights,” Paulson said. "If we're to effectively teach our students, we need to anticipate the future of music and media. ‘Who Knew’ is the ideal venue for this essential exploration."

This Who Knew session is focusing on industry leaders who’ve had a fundamental impact on the way products are created and distributed, whether music, platform or device.

“From the moment attendees walk into Who Knew, they’re provided with an unparalleled opportunity to meet, greet and listen to the cream of the crop in the entertainment industry,” said Tom Truitt, CEO of MusicRowSearch and creator of Who Knew.

“It’s the perfect platform to collaborate with an innovative and pioneering institution like MTSU’s College of Media and Entertainment.”
