MURFREESBORO, Tenn. —
They heard about the upcoming Great Tennessee Solar Eclipse, MTSU’s
veterans’ initiatives, coaches’ spiel from Kermit Davis and Rick Insell,
history from noted forensics expert Hugh Berryman and visited the renovated
Wiser-Patten and Davis Science buildings.
They took in part of Nashville’s music scene, visiting the
Ryman Auditorium, hearing a songwriters panel, visiting Studio A in the Grand
Ole Opry House and taking in a backstage tour and show.
A busy three days concluded Friday (June 23) for nearly 100
people attending the 2017 Alumni Summer College, billed as “Greatest Hits”
since the 10th annual event included a “best of” the previous nine
years, plus added attractions.
