[314] MTSU daily campus tours set to resume Jan. 13

MURFREESBORO — Daily campus tours led by the MTSU Office of Admissions are about to resume for the spring semester.

For the week of Jan. 13-17, tours will be held starting at 1:30 p.m. daily. Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21, two tours will be available daily throughout the spring semester, the first at 10 a.m. and second at 1:30 p.m.

Tours will start at the Student Union and last approximately 90 minutes. A printable campus map can be found at http://tinyurl.com/MTSUParkingMap13-14.

Special admissions recruiting events still available this semester will include:

• The Monday, Feb. 17, University Honors College Presidents’ Day Open House; and

• The Saturday, March 22, Spring Preview Day, a campuswide visit day with special emphasis in the areas of science. A second preview day is scheduled Saturday, June 7. All students are welcome for the preview days; high school seniors and transfer students are highly encouraged to attend.

No daily campus tours will be held Monday, Jan. 20, because the university will be closed for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday; or Jan. 31 and Feb. 17 because of special events those days. On Tuesday, March 4, only the 1:30 p.m. daily tour will be offered.

During the week of spring break, March 10-14, admissions staff will conduct only the 10 a.m. tour each day.

The last daily tour of the semester will be Wednesday, April 30.
