[104] 'MTSU On the Record' digs for facts with Florida prosecutor Jeff Ashton

MURFREESBORO—Jeff Ashton, author of “Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony,” will be the guest on the next “MTSU On the Record” with host Gina Logue.

The program is scheduled to air at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

Ashton, who is Florida’s state attorney-elect, will deliver the William M. Bass Legends in Forensic Science Leadership at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in the new Student Union Ballroom. His appearance is sponsored by MTSU’s Forensic Institute for Research and Education.

“A Philosophy Major’s Life in Forensic Science” is the subject of the lecture. A book signing will follow.
