HEALTH CARE JOB PROSPECTS SUBJECT OF ‘MTSU ON THE RECORD’
Therapeutic, Diagnostic, Support Positions Available in Tennessee, Study Shows
(MURFREESBORO) – A new study that analyzes supply and demand for various allied health professions in Tennessee will be the subject of the next edition of “MTSU on the Record at 8 a.m. this Sunday, Sept. 12, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).
Host Gina Logue will interview Dr. Martha Jo Edwards, who holds the Adams Chair of Excellence in Health Care Service at MTSU, and Cynthia Chafin, project director and consultant with the Adams Chair.
The study, titled “Allied Health in Tennessee: A Supply and Demand Study,” is being used by academics, employers, students and state and local governments to scope out the prospects for employment as physical therapists, dental hygienists, medical imaging diagnosticians and more.
