MURFREESBORO — The screenings of the documentary “RBG” slated for this
week at MTSU have been postponed as Hurricane Florence bears down on the southeastern
Atlantic Coast, prompting mandatory evacuations.
“RBG, an acclaimed documentary
about U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, had been slated
for a 2:40 p.m. showing Thursday, Sept. 13 in the Keathley University Center
and a 6:30 p.m. screening in the Student Union Ballroom. A question-and-answer
session with the film’s co-director, Julie Cohen, was to have followed the 6:30
p.m. showing.
Both screenings and the discussion
with Cohen will be rescheduled. They are sponsored by MTSU’s Department of
Recording Industry and the College of Media and Entertainment and co-sponsored
by the June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students.

college at 615-904-8490 or the department at 615-898-2578.
