[479] ‘MTSU On the Record’ welcomes returning graduates with Alumni Summer College



MURFREESBORO, Tenn. —The 11thannual Alumni Summer College is the topic of the next “MTSU On the Record” radio program. 

Host Gina Logue’s interview with Rhonda King, assistant director of alumni relations, will air from 9:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, and from 6 to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, June 17, on WMOT-FM Roots Radio 89.5 and www.wmot.org.

Singer Ray Stevens and comedian Chondra Pierce headline the June 20-22 event, which has the theme of “Better Living: The Quest for Wellness, Meaning and Happiness.” 

Attendees will be able to enjoy workshops on mindfulness, speech and hearing, gratitude, writing a good life story and MTSU’s new Tennessee Center for Botanical Medicine Research.

“I think, whenever you go to a conference or you go to a program like this, if you can have just a few takeaways that really stick with you and enrich your daily life, then it is a success,” King said.
