Turnham is one of the coordinators of the blood drive
competition between MTSU and Western Kentucky. The public is encouraged to “Bleed
Blue, Beat WKU.”
Donors may make appointments to give blood at MTSU’s Student
Health, Wellness and Recreation Center on Blue Raider Drive between noon and 6
p.m. Monday, Sept. 8; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9; or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 10.
The winner of the contest will be announced at halftime of
the WKU-MTSU football game, which is slated to start at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept.

“With the construction that’s now near our Red Cross here in
