MURFREESBORO — The
MTSU Police Department will be conducting a series of free RAD (Rape Aggression
Defense) classes in June for all interested female MTSU students, faculty and
staff as well as the general public.
The Rape Aggression Defense Class is a program of realistic defense
tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women with awareness,
prevention, risk reduction and avoidance and progresses to the basics of
hands-on defense training. The course is taught by certified RAD instructors.
The classes will be held on Wednesdays, June 4, 11 and 18, from 5:30
to 8:30 p.m. Attendance for all three classes is mandatory.
