MURFREESBORO — Middle Tennessee State University calls it
CUSTOMS — MTSU’s summer orientation program for new students, freshmen and
transfers.
CUSTOMS shows
freshmen the ropes of being an MTSU student. It helps new undergraduate
students make the transition into the university; it prepares them for
educational opportunities; and it propels them into the intellectual, cultural
and social climate of the university.
CUSTOMS
sessions gain momentum after Memorial Day. The second of the 11 two-day
orientation sessions for freshmen will be held Thursday and Friday, May 29-30.
These will be for students who will be majoring in programs in the Colleges of
Basic and Applied Sciences and Behavioral and Health Sciences.
CUSTOMS
transfer orientations will be held Friday, June 6; Tuesday, June 17; Friday,
July 25; Wednesday, Aug. 6; and Tuesday, Aug. 12.
