MURFREESBORO — Middle Tennessee State University’s Career Development Center will be hosting the campus-wide Internships and Summer Jobs Fair on Thursday, March 21. The fair will be held in the James Union Building and will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fair will be this spring’s only campus-wide opportunity for employers to recruit candidates from all colleges at the largest undergraduate institution in the state.
Employers may register to attend the fair by going to the Career Center’s website at mtsu.edu/career/isjf.php and following the instructions listed on the page. Registration is $100 and includes two lunches for employers; sponsorship opportunities are also available at $500. There are 50 employer spots available for this event.
Attending the Internships and Summer Jobs Fair gives employers the opportunity to network and recruit MTSU students from all majors. When employers register for the fair, they may also post available job positions on the CDC’s online job database, Lightning JobSource. The employers’ profiles will also be visible to thousands of MTSU students using Lightning JobSource.
The CDC is also assisting academic departments with the Agriculture Fair and the BEST Fair for Management and Marketing, both in March, and the Aerospace Fair in April. More information on these fairs and the Career Development Center can be found on their website: www.mtsu.edu/career.
