BLUE RAIDER STRENGTH COACH DOES HEAVY LIFTING ON WMOT-FM
Jason Spray Discusses Conditioning, Nutrition, Steroids on ‘MTSU on the Record’
MURFREESBORO—Jason Spray, head strength and conditioning coach for football at MTSU, will be the guest on “MTSU on the Record” with host Gina Logue at 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, and 8 a.m. Sunday, July 8, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).
At the time this interview was conducted, Spray also was an associate strength and conditioning coach for men’s basketball.
Spray, a Murfreesboro native, is the winner of the 2012 Assistant Strength Coach of the Year Award from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He coaches several professional athletes in the off-season and contributes to Stack magazine and Premier Players magazine.
Spray earned his bachelor’s degree from MTSU in 2002 and his master’s degree from MTSU in 2005. He also was a three-year starter for the Blue Raider football team.
