1st MTSU Commercial Construction Management Golf
Tourney Seeks Players, Hole Sponsors for Oct. 15 Event


(MURFREESBORO) — Organizers of the first MTSU Commercial Construction Management Golf Tournament are seeking teams, individual players and hole sponsors. The 18-hole, scramble event can hold up to 120 players (30 teams), and will be played Thursday, Oct. 15, at Gaylord Springs Golf Course, 2800 Opryland Dr., in Nashville. The tourney will have lunch starting at 11 a.m. and a noon shotgun start. There will be Platinum ($2,000), Gold ($1,000) and Silver ($500) company team sponsorships; hole sponsorships for $250; and individual golfers can play for $125. Make checks payable to “MTSU Foundation.” They can be mailed to Sally Swoape, MTSU Engineering Technology Department, P.O. Box 19, Murfreesboro, TN 37132, or hand delivered to the Voorhies Engineering Technology office on Faulkinberry Drive across from Alumni Memorial Gym near Middle Tennessee Boulevard. All checks must be received by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. For more information, call Swoape at 615-898-5009.
