STUDENT GROUPS VIE IN MTSU HOMECOMING FIGHT SONG THURSDAY
(MURFREESBORO) — The MTSU campus community and general public are invited to Fight Song, one of the Homecoming 2008 activities, that will be held starting at 7 p.m. Thursday in Murphy Center, an event organizer said recently.
Admission is free and the event is sponsored by the Student Government Association.
“Fight Song is an event in which organizations perform a modified version of the MTSU fight song, depending on what their theme is (‘Bet on Blue’ this year),” said Clarissa Blackwood, the homecoming director. “The performance consists of singing, dancing, short dialogues, as well as the incorporation of props and background sets.”
