MTSU AWARDS PROVOST SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2007-08 YEAR

(MURFREESBORO)—Middle Tennessee State University representatives recently announced that there are 145 recipients of the Provost Scholarship award for the 2007-08 academic year.
Provost Scholarships are awarded to student applicants with an ACT composite score of 27 or higher (1210 or higher SAT) and at least a 3.75 cumulative grape-point average through the junior year of high school.

MTSU remains one of the fastest-growing universities in the state. The official spring 2007 enrollment was 21,296. More than 22,000 students are expected to attend this fall.
MTSU’s minimum entrance requirement for freshmen is a 3.0 high School GPA or a 22 on the ACT, or a combined minimum of 2.7 GPA and ACT of 19.
