MURFREESBORO — A
lot of information about “healthy” eating is available, but how much of it is
credible?
Learn the truth about how to improve your dietary habits
with free individualized nutrition coaching from MTSU senior nutrition and food
science students and a registered dietitian.
Appointments are available every Thursday between 4:30 and
7:30 p.m. for several weeks starting Thursday, March 27, in the Cason-Kennedy
Nursing Building.
These private sessions will be available on the MTSU campus
and are offered to both the campus community and the general public. Each
session will last approximately an hour depending on the concerns of the
client. Follow-up sessions will be available if desired.
The seniors who will meet one-on-one with clients are under
the supervision of Ginny Bogle, a nutrition and food sciences instructor in
MTSU’s Department of Human Sciences.
In addition to being a registered dietitian, Bogle is a
member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Nashville Academy of
Nutrition and Dietetics. She has held a variety of clinical and management
positions in areas including weight management, cardiac care and diabetes.
Bogle earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food
sciences at MTSU and her master’s degree in health education from Mississippi
State University.
For more information or to set up an appointment, send an
email to Bogle at ginny.bogle@mtsu.edu.
