MTSU to host tomorrow’s leaders at honor society ‘Drive-In’ Feb. 23

MURFREESBORO — MTSU is scheduled to be the hub for a “Drive-In” meeting by chapters of the Omicron Delta Kappa honor society in the geographical area.

The daylong event, which is sponsored by the national ODK and the University Honors College, will begin with registration at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Paul W. Martin Honors Building.

The honors students and their faculty advisers will engage in networking, idea sharing, roundtable discussions and a leadership initiative called “StrengthQuest.”

Any and all ODK members are encouraged to attend, including alumni and faculty officers. There will be a special officer-training program for faculty in attendance.

Fees are $15 for students and general attendees and free for faculty officers. A travel stipend will be given to one faculty officer from each chapter that brings at least one paid student attendee.

Registration fees include attendance at the “Drive-In,” a personal StrengthQuest analysis, a T-shirt and lunch. Please register at least two weeks in advance.

For more information, contact Georgia Dennis at 615-898-5645 or georgia.dennis@mtsu.edu or go to www.odk.org.
