OLYMPIC VET PREVIEWS SUMMER GAMES IN LONDON ON WMOT-FM
Andrew Owusu Assesses Track and Field Prospects on ‘MTSU on the Record’

MURFREESBORO—An MTSU professor will discuss his upcoming involvement in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London on “MTSU on the Record” with host Gina Logue at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, and 8 a.m. Sunday, May 20, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

Dr. Andrew Owusu, associate professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance, will train track and field athletes from his native Ghana, preparing them for the July 20-Aug. 12 event.

Owusu, whose specialties are the long jump and the triple jump, is a veteran of the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. In addition, he has competed in two World Championships, one World Cup and four All-Africa Games.
