HEROES’ MEMORIAL TOPIC OF THIS WEEK’S “MTSU ON THE RECORD”
Names of Veterans from MTSU Community Inscribed in Granite Wall on Campus

(MURFREESBORO) – Dr. Derek Frisby, assistant professor of history, and MTSU alumnus Don Witherspoon will talk about the completion of the MTSU Veterans Memorial at 7 a.m. this Sunday, Nov. 8, on “MTSU on the Record” with host Gina Logue on WMOT-FM (89.5 or wmot.org).
Frisby, a Marine veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and Witherspoon, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, will preview the formal ceremony to celebrate the memorial project, which is slated for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in front of the Tom H. Jackson Building on the campus.
