(MURFREESBORO) – The history of Murfreesboro’s hospital from operations conducted by lantern light in 1927 to today’s gleaming new $267 million building will be the topic of discussion on “MTSU on the Record” at 8 a.m. this Sunday, Feb. 6, with host Gina Logue on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).
Patsy B. Weiler, co-author with executive editor Susan Grear of A Time to Build Up: The History of Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will talk about how they put together the 120-page, hard-bound, coffee-table book chronicling the facility’s growth.
The book is on sale now in the MTMC Gift Shop, 1700 Medical Center Parkway, and at The Write Impression, 120 S. Maple Street, both in Murfreesboro. All proceeds from sales of the limited-edition publication will benefit the MTMC Foundation
